Dr. Geletaw Tessema earned his doctorate degree from Addis Ababa University School of Medicine and College of Health Science. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery and traumatology at AAU CHS. He accomplished his Fellowship in Arthroplasty and orthopedic trauma surgery from the University of Toronto, Canada. Dr. Geletaw is now serving as a president of Ethiopian society of orthopedics and traumatology. Currently, he is the postgraduate coordinator of orthopedic residency program at Black Lion Specialized Hospital AAU-CHC. Dr. Geletaw serves as an ethical review board member in Black Lion Specialized Hospital. He is also the service director and operation theatre coordinator of orthopedics department at Addis Ababa University School of Medicine College and Health Science. Currently, he is working as an assistant professor of orthopedic surgery at AAU. He is teaching medical students, residents, and fellows in orthopedic surgery He is now a part-time arthroplasty and orthopedic trauma surgeon at Samaritan Surgical Center.
