Dr. Samson Demissie
Dr Samson Demissie,MD, GENERAL SURGERY, UROLOGY AND RENAL TRANSPLANTATION
- Has earned his doctor of medicine degree from college of health sciences, school of medicine, Jimma University in 2007. He further attended his post graduate study in the same institution earning a specialty certificate in General Surgery, from Jimma University. Dr. Samson attained certificate of fellowship-Urology and Renal Transplantation in May 27, 2017 Christian Medical Collage, Vellore, Indian, KAROLINSKA Institute, department of public health science in Sweden, has taken advanced diploma enhancing access to human resource for Mental and Neonatal Survival, Cure club Foot worldwide and cure club foot Ethiopia, Certificate of Ponseti Method, CNIS and JIMMA UNIVERSITY certificate of Burna Management, Smile Training AMREF in collaboration with YEKATIT 12 Hospital, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, certificate of Cleft Lip and Palate Surgery.
- Samson has worked as the head of surgical case team in Arbaminch Zonal Hospital. He has also served as a General Surgeon in Tercha General Hospital as well as Dobbo Missionary Catholic Hospital, in Wolayta, Ethiopia and Dr. Samson was also General and Trauma Surgeon in Bentue Referral Hospital in South Sudan. He is currently working as a full time Medical Director at Samaritan surgical center.
Dr. Derese Eshetu
Dr. Derese Eshetu earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Certificate of Specialty in Surgery from Addis Ababa Medical Faculty. He has worked as a General Practitioner in the Ministry of Defense Hospital from 1990-1997. Dr. Derese completed a residency training in General Surgery from 1998-2002. He has worked in South East command Hospital as a General Surgeon as well as the department head for Department Surgery. He has also served as the Medical Director of the South East Command Hospital from January 2005 – October 2008. He also worked as a full-time surgeon at saint Yared General from 2008-2017. He is now a part-time surgeon and former Medical Director at Samaritan Surgical Center.
